Bible journaling: Why I draw on the pages of my Bible

Editor’s note: This blog post originally was dated in 2018. Since then, a lot has happened. I have grown in my Bible journaling life. I have learned lots of tips and techniques. I have fallen into the trap of spending more time on the art than in HIS word. But overall, I have developed a deeper relationship with the Lord, and everything is worth that. Read this and be inspired!

After a relationship ends, we want to find out the “why” and the reasons for what happened. But why do we always want to believe what other people say about our relationships and who we are, instead of going straight to God and his Word?  Sometimes we tell ourselves lies—and we believe them. I want you to think about the lies you tell yourself and what to pray instead. Download the poster here: https://dl.bookfunnel.com/vyn310av4y

I couldn’t imagine how sad I would be after losing my Lord, my Savior, my friend. I mean, three years with Jesus and all they saw and experienced, and poof, he’s gone.

I couldn’t imagine the deep and profound depression they must have felt, even after seeing him a few times. Especially Peter, but the others, too. How could they get along on their own?

Birth of Christ devotional

Mary said yes. Just. One. Yes. But still she wondered. She had questions. Just think, a young girl, betrothed, untouched — and now, pregnant? What must she be thinking? “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” This 7-day devotional takes the reader through the first two chapters of the Gospel of Luke, and through the Christmas story from the announcement to the angels proclaiming “Glory to God!”
